The history of Anthraper family goes back to the early 16th century. The very name 'Anthraper' is derived from Andrew Feretta, a Portuguese name, and also 'AntharaPeriyavar', a term used to denote a person of high nobility.
It begins with the arrival in Cochin of Andrew Feretta of Portugal and his wife Catherina and son Diego Feretta along with Vasco de Gama, the explorer, in 1502. Andrew Feretta settled down in Cochin, rising to the rank of Military Commander of the King of Cochin and in time, his son inherited his father's mantle and served the King well. Diego Feretta was made a 'Madambi' (Local chieftain or Earl) in 1545, and was the only Christian Madambi among 71 other Madambis of Cherthala Area. The Anthrapers always married ladies of Portuguese origin until 1786 when Kochandy Anthraper accepted a bride Anna, from the local parish. And with this, their integration with the land was complete. All the living Anthrapers of many branches are the descendants of this couple.

It seems that the author is unaware of Portuguese maritime history. In fact, women were forbidden from boarding the ships of the Portuguese armada and it was a crime punishable by flogging. No Fidalgos were allowed to bring their families aboard. It is recorded that on one of the voyages, two damsels were discovered on board after the vessel reached Kochi and the duo was publicly flogged and lacerated. On his deathbed, Gama made sure that in his will, a sufficient sum was allotted to both women as dowry as an act of repentance. Only after the days of Dom Vasco Da Gama years later could respectable women come on board Portuguese Naus and Caravelas bound for Malabar and Goa. Even so, their numbers were so few that Albuquerque had to issue an edict allowing eligible Fidalgos and Soldados to marry 'fair' native women, who had been baptised. The Anthrapers were not included in the Eurasian community of Alappuzha and Kochi for the simple reason that Anthre Pereira not only married a Syrian Christian lady, but also got himself totally assimilated into his wife's community because of 'certain socio-cultural and sensitive issues. It is said that he had to cut off his ties with the Eurasian community in Kochi fort as well as Porakkad. (The details of which rest with several reputed historians of Kochi and Alappuzha) On the other hand,the Noronhas of Thakazhy--the sole Eurasian family amidst Syrian Christians and Nairs of Ambalappuzha, remained within the Eurasian fold. Despite the fact that one of their ancestors was employed by the Porakkad raja and was given land to settle down, they maintained links with their community by marrying from respectable Eurasian/Parangi families of Cochin and Quilon and even today they continue to do so.

It is fictional realism.people are also searching Samira Parveen also.In fact we know najeeb of adujeevitham,but to find him you can't succeed.Because writer has made Christy as a single character.Actually he is a blend of characters.Benyamin inspired this style from anand's novel govardhante yatrakal.To know more about Christy andreper Benyamin have to publish it's second part.I will say you a one thing for sure😉; Christy is a reality.for that you have to come out of the book and search in a unique way.I know the remaining story.But if you are interested only
